Synchronizing Your Apple iPad 2

To synchronize the iPad 2, so that you can put music or videos from your PC, you’re in the right place. Read and carefully follow instructions on how to synchronize the iPad 2 and PC.

You have two ways to connect:

USB Cable. Use the cable supplied with the iPhone to connect the USB connector into a USB port on your Mac or Windows PC, then plug the dock connector port 30-pin connector on the bottom of the iPad.
Dock. If you spent the money to an optional docking iPad (regular or keyboard dock), first connect to an outlet. Using your iPhone cable, plug the USB connector into a USB port on your Mac or Windows PC, and install the dock connector port 30-pin connector on the back of the dock. Now, insert the Apple iPad at the base of the pier.

Automatically synchronize your iPhone

Depending on the storage capacity of the iPhone – 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or – you may be able to transfer all of your computer iPad – friendly digital content on the hard disk of the iPad. If this sounds like the way you want to go, you can enjoy the simple synchronization scenarios iPad, which do not pay attention to all: automatic synchronization. Because you know that all the iPad – content on your Mac or Windows PC is set, all you have to do is turn on the iPad 2 and connect to your computer.

iTunes opens automatically connects to your iPad 2, and starts timing. And for your information, the USB port is also beginning to charge the battery of your iPhone.

Note that you can not use your iPad while synchronization is running. However, one of the best features of iPhone is that you can stop synchronization. When the synchronization progress screen appears on the slide to cancel slider in the bottom of the screen. If you ever have to bail out of synchronization to perform a function, drag the cursor to the right. cancels the iTunes sync so you can go about your business. When ready to restart the synchronization, click the Sync button in iTunes.

When synchronization is complete, you must do two things:

In iTunes, click the eject icon next to your iPhone in the Devices list.
Remove the dock connector port of the iPhone 30-pin.

Ignoring automatic synchronization

Sometimes you may want to connect your iPhone to your computer, but do not want to sync automatically. For example, you can connect your iPhone to your computer for charging. Or maybe you just want to use iTunes to check how much free space remains on the iPad 2 or to check for updates iPhone software.

Whatever the reason, you can ask iTunes to keep at bay this time synchronization with only one of the following:

Mac Connect the iPhone to the Mac, and quickly press and hold down the option and Mac
Windows. Connect the iPhone to your computer with Windows, immediately hold down Ctrl and Shift keys.

When you see that iTunes iPad added to the list of devices, you can release the keys. Note, however, you must use iTunes to see how much free space remains on your iPhone. On the main screen, tap Settings, click General, then About. In the About screen that slides into the available value indicates the number of gigabytes (or megabytes) of free space you have to play.

Troubleshooting automatic synchronization

So connect your iPhone to your computer and then nothing. If iTunes is not running, it refuses to wake up sound. What about that?

A few things could be the problem. First, connect the iPhone 2, go to iTunes on your computer, click the iPhone in the device list 2. On the Summary tab, make sure Open iTunes when you connect the iPhone is connected to is enabled.

If this box is checked, you have to go a little longer to solve the mystery. Follow these steps:

Open iTunes Preferences:
Mac Select iTunes> Preferences
Windows. Choose Edit> Preferences
Click the Devices tab.
Uncheck Prevent iPods, iPhones, iPads and automatic synchronization box control.
Click OK to put the new settings into effect and allows automatic synchronization again.

Sync your iPhone manually the first time you connect your iPhone to iTunes, the installation routine which includes a summary screen that prompts you to automatically sync certain content such as music and photos. If you checked the box to a particular type of content, the iPhone to sync all of this content.

One day you’ll be thinking about his own business and do what I think is a synchronization routine operation when a dialog box asks for the iPad 2 is out of disk space. You can handle this in a couple of ways:

Remove some of the contents of your computer. It’s a good way to go if your iPad 2 is far from having enough space. For example, the dialog box displays the team wants to send 100 MB of data, but the iPad 2 has only 98 MB of free space. Getting rid of a few megabytes of stuff on your computer, and you’re back in business synchronization.
Sync your iPhone manually. This means you no longer sync everything on your computer. Instead, choose the hand, playlists, podcasts, audiobooks, and so are sent to your iPhone. It’s a bit more work, but it is the way to go if there is no significant difference between the amount of content on your computer and the amount of free space on your iPhone.

Manual synchronization means that you work for synchronizing different types of content: contacts, calendar, email, favorites, music, podcasts, audiobooks, ebooks, photos, videos and applications. This is done by using the other tabs in the window of the iPad: News, music, pictures, etc..

Erase data from your iPad 2 and replace it with fresh information

Once you know what you do, sync contacts, calendars, email accounts, and bookmarks on your iPhone 2 is a relatively balls to do without any problem all the time. Of course, this technology is that we are dealing with here, so snagging occurs from time to time, and therefore, you could end up with damaged or repeated information on the iPad.

Or maybe it was to sync the iPhone with a couple of different teams, and you decide to cut one of the teams out of the loop and return to a single machine for all timing.

In both cases, replace the existing information on the two Apple iPad with a freshly baked batch of data. Fortunately, iTunes has a feature that lets you do just that. That’s how it works:

Connect your iPhone to your computer.
In the iTunes device list, click on the iPad.
Click the Details tab.
Select the time of check boxes for each type of information you want to work (contacts, calendars, email accounts, bookmarks and notes).
In the Advanced Options section, check the box next to each type of information you want to replace.
Click Apply. iTunes replaces the selected information on the iPad.
